Trabiss Metrology processes your personal data when you use our services and/or provide it to us yourself.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify the age of visitors. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data from being collected without parental consent.

Trabiss Metrology does not retain your personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected, unless there is a legal retention period of 7 years. We adhere to the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

  • Personal details – 10 years
  • Address – 10 years
  • And so on – 10 years

The reason for this retention period, in addition to the legal retention period of 7 years, is to provide warranty, service, maintenance, and replacement parts.

Trabiss Metrology does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We have a data processing agreement in place with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
