Trabiss Shore test equipment sets
Trabiss Shore test material sets are used to determine if your hardness tester is performing within tolerances. You cannot calibrate the hardness tester with these test material sets.
Type A hardness testers you can use to test rubber and other soft nonmetals. Be careful not to press the durometer too hard into the test material to avoid an incorrect measurement. If there is a large variation, you may need to recalibrate the durometer. This should be done in accordance with ASTM and DIN standards.
The kit consists of seven test blocks, each with its own color code. The test blocks are calibrated and correspond to durometer values from 30 points to 90 points, increasing in steps of 10.
The kit comes in a sturdy case with the actual value for each test block indicated on the inside of the lid.
